A lot of what I share comes from lived experience with health issues, caregiving, and trying to navigate systems that are not always built to help people like us. I run KCareConnections, where I focus on finding and sharing resources that people usually have to dig way too hard to find. I also write local pieces and human interest stories, because I believe everyday stories matter just as much as big headlines.
The Love Stays Collection is a gentle series of children’s books created for young children whose parent or caregiver is living with serious illness, changing abilities, or the possibility of death. Through simple, reassuring language and age-appropriate stories, each book helps children understand difficult changes while reminding them of what remains constant: love, connection, memories, and the special bond they share with their parent.
